Surely enough, in one of the reviews there was another scene mentioned which disturbed me even more, so I searched for it to make sure it actually exists (it does). I decided I'd look into what other parents were saying about this. They get excited, then Mickey pours soft-serve down his pants etc.

Like on a hot day, Mickey, Donald and Goofy find themselves in the back of an ice cream van.

I would describe this series as weird and unsettling mix between Disney, Ren and Stimpy and the Loony Toons. Then I realized these episodes contain elements that are reminiscent of Ren and Stimpy, i.e, illustrations that are crude/ grotesque. Something I couldn't quite put my finger on seemed a little off, and it started to make me feel uncomfortable, especially with my five-year-old watching. Sadly, that optimism was very short-lived. I thought maybe, just maybe, Disney had found the light and decided to get back in touch with its roots that had made it so great in the first place. I actually felt a spark of optimism I hadn't felt towards any Disney production for a long time. I momentarily thought that might have been what they were, but quickly realized that isn't the case. At first glance they pretty much look like the vintage style of Mickey Mouse and co. At first I thought they were cute, harmless and funny enough. We were first exposed to these short cartoons because they came on YouTube auto-play after watching a bunch of Disney Princess song videos.
